Black & White to go

Well..I have finally changed my blog template but pardon me on some of the tabs, still figuring out how to personalize all of them with my personal links. This template was designed for professional and business usage but I kinda like the simple layout and colors, especially those social tabs to connect conveniently. 

As you transit into later stages in life, work has essentially occupied more than 50% of our lives, not measuring by the hours spent on each day as working 9 hours a day. Sad to say, most of us still thinks about work even after those 9 hours, could be responsibility or just simply stupidity or a mix of both. 

Right now, I am in midst of looking out for new career opportunity, still in marketing but preferably going into digital marketing. Traditional marketing no longer interest me much though. I have questioned myself why do I want to leave my existing co when there are alot of perks at work such as; reasonable salary after increment hopefully, 18 days of long annual leave, fully paid for medical needs, $300 dental claims, $70 mobile claims, unlimited Taxi claims, and off-in-lieu, invitations to private events by partners, and free gifts and many more. 

Well, the main motivation for leaving this company would be the management system and organizational directions. This is indeed a bad experience for my first full time job, with 2 managers left during my time here. Research have shown that employees leave the company are mainly attributed by the direct superior. In this case, this clearly shows the shitty management and leadership skills in my GM. What is making this worse, some of the colleagues working here usually wear a mask to work.

Well, I believe that both my princess and I will find a desired job soon! 

It was mentioned by a wise person (my baby princess) that when you are having a shitty time in career, relationship will definitely be better, however I wish to have best of both worlds! My baby princess is also having a tough time looking for a desired job. Having to go through so many job interviews but all turned out to be shitty, be it job scope, pay budget, benefits or location definitely demoralise a person's motivation to get a job. I know you will read this post and I hope that you will jiayou and get your desired job soon.

Bear misses Kitty alot and currently doing tons of homework. It has come to a point that I am always waiting for 10am to wake you up so as to hear your voice and wait patiently for your replies #cantwaittoseeher #princemissprincess #bearmisskitty

The week has been rather eventful. Let's start with Monday. Went for a job interview at Owl International for a marketing position. Interview didn't went well and I guess both Owl and mi have different expectations of each other. They were expecting a fresh grad with a lower pay budget than someone with 1.5 years experience in the field and asking for a higher pay. To make things even worse, they are shifting office to Tuas which is too far for mi. Waking up early is not a kidding matter for someone like mi with a pre-monster syndrome -quoted from my baby girl. However, interview results aside, I am happy with myself being able to step out of comfort zone. I always believe one will never grow once u are struck in a comfortable position. *pats on my shoulder*

Tuesday is a great happy day spent with my girl despite the little awkwardness between my mum and her. I do hope things and relations will turn up better soon!

Wednesday.. Kena butter session by GM about Times sales dip in the morning, Pansing sales dip in the afternoon. Each session lasted about 1.5 to 2 hours. His scoldings always makes mi ponder if I am doing a good job or not? Other maybe my direct superior is not providing a decent direction for us executives to follow. You are right if you think i should have a mind of my own and be more proactive at work. Then tell mi, what's the use of having a manager then? Not sure if GM is playing mind games by making use of the executives to get rid of the manager again. That ass. I shall just remain quiet, time to act dumb I guess. After all these nonsense at work, I met up with my angel who changes my bad mood straight with her bubbly-ness and silly smile! A happy man at last! :p

Thursday - peaceful day but miss her loads :(( Can't wait for Friday night meet up with her.

Fri, Sat & Sun - time is tight, but I will make full use of wad ever time I have :))

A day at work

Been a while since I last blogged. Today, I had a disagreement with a colleague.

In this company, we have a ranking system from an assistant being the lowest to supervisory, followed by executive and finally management. Being a fellow executive with her, I didn't have the rights to judge her but if you have been in my shoes, you would have understand. Frankly, I didn't want to involve gender differences but why woman think so differently from the man? Man doesn't make all the right decisions despite most leaders and bosses are male. Females can be great politicians as well, look at Hillary Clinton for example.
