My colleague recently asked mi a question over lunch. He asked me about my work in the current company. 2 words to describe my current co; slow and steady. It feels pretty much like working in a retirement place. I would say almost 75% of my co-workers are probably here for their last job in life.
Comparing to my time when working in Times, it feels like I have exited the highway and entered a small route. Well, I still pretty much like being in a hectic battlefield , so yeah will move on when an opportunity arises!
Fighting! :p

A Week in RD
Phew~~~ I have finally survived a week in the new job! It wasn't too hard to understand some of the technical work terms as I am still working in publication trade. However, the environment here are structured differently from Times. After working here for a week, I realized my previous job in Times is being split into different jobs in different departments with a specific headcount doing each function.
Besides, direct superior with different genders does make a difference on the stress level. The female superior tends to delegate more work to the subordinate while the male superior gave more empowerment to the subordinate. The female superior tends to shift away from responsibilities while the male superior tends to hold on to more responsibilities. And of course, this depends on the type of company structure you are in; whether MNC or SME, internationally or locally does make an impact on the type of roles and responsibilities for each individual.
Working in this job has also allowed mi to talk to people from different Asian countries. I came to realized that Chinese from Taiwan business world isn't nice to deal with. Or maybe Chinese are naturally more aggressive in business and profitability as compared to the Whites.
Enough about work, I miss my baby girl a lot! I have another 30 minutes to go before I can leave work and see my beautiful girl!
p.s. If you are reading this, you know you are being missed by mi <3 bbs.="" div="">

Bye 2013, Hello 2014
2013 has ended. 2013 wasn't a fantastic period to go through but it was a year that I fast tracked my growing up process. 2013 taught mi the roles and responsibilities of careful thinking, swift decisions and appreciating and cherish the loved ones around mi. 2013 has also shower mi with love where I have met the lady of my life; Raine. Life has never been that sweet and exciting before. I'm glad that I've found her! 2013 has also seen a transition in career. Getting and talking myself out of a comfort zone was never an easy matter but I'm glad that I managed to move on in career to a better place I hope.
After a long annual leave period, tomorrow marks the official first day in the new job. Much excitement and anxiety lies ahead in 2014! :)
p.s. I miss you!
